I refuse to stay down!

Nothing can keep me down, not even being bedridden and doped up on medz! HA! Take that nature. lol

In all seriousness, I'm back to writing. Got 16 pages down, and a bunch more that needs to get written out. The one issue I'm having is with a scene with Cortana. There's ALOT of information to off load at that part, alot of important information thats crucial to the story. ( I hope you guys have been paying attention from the begining, b/c if you were, you might already have an idea of what I've got planned.)

This whole chapter is alot of conversations, and social situations. I hate that I'm not getting to action scenes with the chief yet. But we all already know he kicks ass in combat as is. ;) Infact, this whole next update is going to contain alot of important information, and subtle plot points, if anyone picks up on them. :D

So, unless I fall asleep with the computer in my lap (again ;() I hope to have this sucker done by tommorrow. I aim to have it up by this weekend, as writing is a great distraction from reality.

Also, for anyone reading this, you'll be the first to get a head start...

Start thinking about who your favorite OC is, and why. I've pretty much got a clear idea of how this will end already, but some parts are still changable and/or moldable. There WILL be deaths. Who? I haven't made up my mind yet. NO one in the story is safe really. Let me know through reveiws, or comments right here!

Sick

I've been horribly sick since last night. I think I got some kind of stomach virus, and it has me ralfing almost non-stop. There is a migraine of epic proportions to go with it, so I haven't been able to pop open the laptop and write. Staring at a tv screen hurts right now.

Hopefully it will only last a few days and I can upload and drop the new chapter. It's almostdone anyway.

I'm a follower of Anette Olzon's blog.

Recently she posted a video about the slaughter of dolphins in Japan, and the link to the petition to the Japanese government to make it stop.

I am a person that against all forms of cruelty, be it towards humans or animals. The video sickened me, and I was unable to make it all the way through.

Please find it in your heart to sign it. We as humans can be better than that.

Into the Black, Forever Free chapter 7

I'm working on the next chapter right now. Took a quick break to get a snack and watch a Robinhood movie on SYFY channel. It'll go back to Master Chief and the crew of Serenity again, like I've been doing.

I'm on page ten right now, according to my microsoft works, and I haven't even gotten in half the information I want to for this chapter. This is looking like it's going to be a really long one again.

I'm trying my best to keep the Chief the same, but explore more of his personality than the books and games. Getting the firefly speak spot on is hard too. I hope to have this up with in the next week. I think you guys will like it.

Hey, this is Akoro88 from Fanfiction.net. I decided that b/c I have so many hits on my story, despite it being buried and out of the way on the site, I could blog about it. This way those of you that really like it, and any other stories I churn out in the future can get updates without the false hope of another chapter upload. I noticed some people do this with their stories, and I get rather upset b/c I think theres a new chapter, and it's only a page of Author's notes. UGH.

Also, I figured I could ask questions here about details on Serenity or Halo, or anything else. Those of you that have already read my current work know I don't really have the time to go into full blown detail with everything. Unfortunately real life and adult responsibilities require my attention on a regular basis, and I can't always do the researh I should, and churn out updates in a reasonable time schedule. Those of you that have google accounts can communicate with me through comments, or my inbox on fanfiction.

Reader input is very big deal for me, and I always want to know what you think about my story.

I will say, chracters and their development are my biggest thing. I love a good personality, espeacially when it makes the story.
